Strategy workshop design & facilitation:

Aligning teams for transformative impact

The challenge

Following months of strategic planning, the entrepreneurial hub in a leading Canadian university stood at a critical turning point: moving from vision to execution. With leadership changes and evolving goals, the team needed clarity, alignment, and renewed energy. We helped identify and outline priorities, unlock team strengths, and build momentum.

Our approach

We led a dynamic workshop designed to help team members turn their goals into action plans. The session blended structured conversations with creative problem-solving to actively involve participants. The workshop began by setting the stage and clarifying strategic goals before participants took part in a “creative destruction” exercise to uncover possible risks and reframe these as opportunities. In smaller breakout groups, teams created plans to address these challenges and took shared responsibility for moving forward. The workshop wrapped up by identifying the key capabilities they needed to achieve the vision while aligning on the most important priorities.

Results & impact

  1. Clear alignment on strategic priorities
  2. Renewed energy and ownership across the team
  3. Defined capabilities and focus areas to drive impact
  4. Stronger culture of collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking
